Our Patch, Your Questions – 23rd March
Good afternoon all, it’s Matt (Inspector Painter).
As mentioned a few weeks ago, I want to give you a clear and accessible platform to raise your concerns, ask questions about our policing response, and gain a better understanding of the work we do across North Shropshire and plans for the coming weeks.
You’ll already have seen a number of regular in‑person engagement events taking place with your local teams at convenient locations. To support this — and to offer an easy, flexible way to engage with us — we’re launching a new regular Q&A session here on Facebook, where you can put your questions directly to your Local Policing Inspector and Sergeant.
Whether it’s about speeding, antisocial behaviour, police visibility, local priorities, or anything else affecting your community — we want to hear from you.
This is your chance to: Ask what matters to you Share concerns or feedback Hear directly from your local leadership team Understand the work we’re doing across North Shropshire
No jargon. No fuss. Just open, honest conversation about your neighbourhood. Date: Monday 23rd March Time: To be confirmed in the coming weeks I will share a further post explaining how you can submit questions in advance, or you can simply join us on the day and ask them directly.
For anyone who cannot make this date, please don’t worry — this will be an ongoing commitment to you with more dates to be published after this. Thank you for your continued support.
Looking ahead to next week, the team have several pieces of proactive work planned. We’ll be acting on recent community intelligence and focusing our efforts on locations and individuals causing the most harm.
Please keep an eye out for updates and results, which I will share as soon as I can.
As always, thank you for your continued support and for reporting concerns to us. Your information genuinely helps shape our activity.
